Meet the Bark Assistant
The Bark Assistant is Bark’s new AI-powered search engine built right into the dashboard. Have you ever opened the Bark dashboard with a specific task in mind and thought, “Where do I go to do this?” Well, now you can simply go straight to the Bark Assistant. When you tap into your child’s profile, you’ll find a search bar titled, “I’d like to…” All you have to do is type in your question and receive a response within seconds. Check it out for yourself in your dashboard!
Instantaneous Insights and Setting Changes
The AI behind the Bark Assistant scans your child’s profile, current routines, active settings, alerts, and more. It can provide insights and summarize your child’s activities without you having to go searching for them.
Here are some example insights the Bark Assistant can provide:
- “Show me the biggest changes in my child’s online activity this week.”
- “What apps did my child use the most yesterday, and for how long?”
- “What issue should I be focused on the most as a parent right now based on alerts?”
Not only is it informational, but it’s also actionable. You can ask it to make changes or updates to your child’s settings, and it’ll do it for you instantly. Things like:
- “Pause phone for 30 minutes.”
- “Block YouTube and TikTok until tomorrow morning.”
- “Turn on bedtime every school night from 9:00 pm to 7:00 am.”
The Bark Assistant is smart — it knows the context of your child’s current profile settings whenever you make a request. If your request contradicts a current setting you have, it’ll make a suggestion for additional changes to avoid any discrepancies. And if there’s anything it can’t answer quite yet, stay tuned, because it’s being updated with more questions daily.
